Who is responsible for our guides?
The Vayora Travel editorial team is responsible for the travel information on this website. Vayora Travel is a China-based team planning private, tailor-made journeys, with a focus on Yunnan. Read about our team and services. A team byline identifies editorial responsibility; it does not claim that the writer is a doctor, immigration official or other licensed adviser.
Where our information comes from
- Official institutions: immigration authorities, embassies and consulates for entry rules; public health authorities for health guidance; government notices for public holidays; and official rail, airline and weather services for transport and conditions.
- Attraction and service websites: the attraction, park, museum, hotel, carrier or event organiser is the preferred source for its own opening hours, reservations, access rules and service notices.
- First-hand operational information: itinerary-specific written proposals, service confirmations and direct information from the people arranging a journey can inform practical planning. Availability and quotations apply to the stated trip and date. They are not independently audited statistics or guarantees for every traveller.
We distinguish a published rule from a planning suggestion. Where information conflicts, the responsible authority or service provider takes priority. We link sources near factual statements or in a source list. A list headed “Sources for checking this guide” identifies channels for further verification; it does not mean every statement has already been checked against those channels.
Our update and review standard
From October 2026, our review targets are monthly checks for visa, entry, permit, health and payment guidance; checks before the relevant season or event for seasonal information; and at least an annual review for general destination and cultural guides. We also review material when an official change, a supplier notice or a substantiated correction is brought to our attention. Trip-specific services must be reconfirmed when preparing a proposal and before travel.
These are review targets, not a claim that every existing page has completed a review. A page marked “Content review pending” has no completed review date recorded. An “Editorial note updated” date dates the transparency note, not a full factual review of the article. “Reviewed” dates identify completed content checks. For sensitive topics, “Reviewed against official sources” identifies a check against the cited official guidance. Dates stay fixed until another review is actually completed; they do not refresh automatically.
Always confirm these details before departure
- Visa and visa-free eligibility, passport requirements, entry and exit rules, transit routes, accommodation registration and regional permits.
- Health advice, vaccination requirements, altitude risks, medication restrictions and any advice affected by your personal medical circumstances. Consult a qualified health professional for individual decisions.
- Opening hours, ticket prices and availability, reservation deadlines, closures and access restrictions at attractions.
- Flight and train times, station or terminal names, baggage rules, transfers and carrier document checks.
- Weather warnings, road conditions, seasonal access, event dates, payment acceptance and the availability of your booked services.
Use the responsible authority or provider for the current decision. A review date shows when information was checked, not a promise that a rule or service will remain unchanged.
How to report a correction
Email info@vayoratravel.com with the page URL, the statement in question, the proposed correction and an official or first-party source, including its date if available. Please do not send passport copies or medical records to report a website error.
Our correction process is to check the evidence, correct confirmed errors and record a new review date only when the relevant review has been completed. If the answer cannot be established, we identify the uncertainty or remove the unsupported claim. We do not promise a fixed response time.
